Job Title: Set Up Operator

Job Description

We are seeking experienced operators to join our team for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Ideal candidates should have experience in machine operating, setting up machinery, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance. A comprehensive training program on the 1st shift will be provided before transitioning to the scheduled shift. Responsibilities

• Machine and perform final inspection on products.
• Make adjustments on machinery to modify heights, speeds, and feeds.
• Work from drawings and blueprints.
• Obtain raw materials before commencing job duties.
• Organize products into designated areas.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operating or higher-level assembly.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds.
• Competence in working from blueprints or drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication shops or automotive industry is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large, well-lit, and climate-controlled manufacturing floor. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicopee, MA.

The pay range for this position is $24.29 - $24.29/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Chicopee,MA.
