Senior Product Designer

Location: New York City, NY

Type: Hybrid

Salary: $170–$200k + equity

About the Role

We're partnering with a fast-growing AI company building software to simplify complex accounting and financial workflows.

They're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can turn complicated finance processes into intuitive, easy-to-use product experiences. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to understand user needs, solve complex problems, and bring thoughtful designs from concept through launch.

What You'll Do

Design intuitive experiences for complex accounting and financial workflows.
Turn complicated processes, data, and business requirements into clear user flows and interfaces.
Build prototypes to explore ideas and test solutions.
Partner with product and engineering to ship high-quality experiences.
Contribute to design systems and improve consistency across the product.
Use AI-powered prototyping tools to explore and iterate on ideas.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
A strong portfolio showcasing visual craft, interaction design, and complex problem-solving.
Experience designing data-heavy products or sophisticated workflows.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to own projects from concept through implementation.
Willingness to work onsite in NYC ~4 days per week.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following:

Accounting software or financial operations
ERP platforms
Fintech products
Workflows such as billing, invoicing, reconciliation, or financial reporting

Compensation & Benefits

$170,000–$200,000 base salary + equity
