Job Title: Manager - Radiation Therapy

Position Summary

Oversee the daily operations of the Radiation Oncology Department. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, clinical oversight, staff supervision, quality assurance, and operational management to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality radiation therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Radiation Therapy department.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate radiation therapists and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists, Dosimetrists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Oversee scheduling, workflow management, staffing, and departmental productivity.
• Monitor quality assurance programs and radiation safety protocols.
• Participate in budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Drive process improvement efforts and maintain patient satisfaction standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Current ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification required.
• Massachusetts Radiation Therapist license (or eligibility) preferred.
• Previous leadership or management experience in Radiation Oncology.
• Strong knowledge of radiation therapy equipment, treatment planning, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a Radiation Therapy setting.
• Experience with accreditation and quality improvement initiatives.

Contract Details

• Duration: 26 Weeks
• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Shift Length: 8 Hours
