This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while servicing school-based clients. You will be equipped with state-of-the-art electronic medical records (EMR), which enhances efficiency and minimizes the documentation burden, allowing you to focus on patient care. Additionally, a dedicated administrative assistant will support your practice, ensuring that your time is spent meaningfully addressing the needs of students and their families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of students to evaluate their mental health needs, and identify issues impacting their well-being.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with each student’s individual goals, strengths, and circumstances.

• Diagnose mental health conditions, formulate treatment strategies, and adapt therapy approaches based on student progress and engagement.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, as well as group therapy and family counseling, tailored to the unique dynamics of each case.

• Regularly monitor treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary in collaboration with the students and their families.

• Facilitate crisis intervention services, ensuring swift referrals to emergency resources when situations escalate beyond your care capabilities.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that complies with both state and federal regulations, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders involved.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and unrestricted California LCSW license.
