Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) – OncologyCentral Maine Medical Center | Lewiston, MEFull-Time | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour ShiftsPay: $37.80 to $54.75 per hour.The Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) serves as the acting leader in the absence of the Director or Manager and is accountable for staffing coordination, patient care oversight, staff supervision, performance improvement initiatives, and departmental operations during the assigned shift. The private, not-for-profit institution is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education and plays an important role in training the next generation of healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical and operational oversight for the Oncology departmentSupervise and support nursing staff during assigned shiftsEnsure quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and patient safety standardsCoordinate staffing, workflow, and department operationsAssist with orientation, training, and staff developmentCollaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teamsSupport performance improvement and operational efficiency initiativesPerform direct patient care as neededQualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAININGCurrent and valid state Registered Nurse license.Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.FACILITY / UNIT TRAININGCritical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care.Non-OB Facilities – NRP Required 90 days after hire and maintained.Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred.Pay TransparencyCentral Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.80 to $54.75 per hour.
