In this role, you will load, unload and deliver products to our store locations and customers in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.

Compensation 

• This position offers a base hourly range of $34.10 - $36.50 per hour, depending on years of tractor-trailer experience and verifiable mileage, plus bonus based on company performance – with an average of 40 hours weekly
• Time and a half overtime pay after 40 hours
• Quarterly profit-sharing bonus
• Driver Referral Bonus: $1,500
• Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Daily! 
• 3 day work week, either Mon, Wed, Fri  OR  Sun, Tues, Thurs, 12-14 hours shifts
• Start times vary
• Route: 150 miles around – Findlay, OH covering parts of Michigan as well
• Level of Touch: Unload with dolly

• Volvo tractors (automatic transmission) - replaced every 7 years
• 53ft refrigerated trailers – set up into 3 zones (Cooler/Freezer/Ambient)
• Air Ride seats
• Inward/Outward facing cameras

• Governed to 68 MPH

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips and submit written report on the condition of the truck-trailer at the end of each trip or tour of duty.
• Drive truck to destination in accordance with the federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations between the customer, store personnel and the company.
• Load and unload product in a manner that assure safety and minimal risk of damage to product. Verify that product is being held and delivered at appropriate temperatures to maintain product integrity, appearance and safety.
• Ensure that all shipment documentation (e.g. bill of lading, etc.) required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that the appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment when delivered.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations including driver’s log, mileage records, and other records required by law.
• Report all highway safety hazards noted in route, accidents involving driver or company equipment, and delays due to break-downs, weather or traffic conditions.

Qualifications 

• Must be minimum of 21 years old and eligible to engage in interstate travel 
• Must have CDL A license
• 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer experience with 130,000 miles
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
• Tools & Equipment (Other than general office equipment):
  • Hand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.)
  • Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift, etc.)
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 1 hour and 15-minute commute distance from Findlay, OH  (average 50 mile radius) or be willing to relocate for this position
